As you enter the house, you are currently graced with the sumptuous sensation of walking upon the plastic hall runner, stapled securely down to protect the precious stain speckled carpet. Despite the beauty and charm of the current décor, the hope for this hallway is to help the beauty of the Cyprus pine floor shine through (assuming that it's all in decent condition when we pull up the carpet, or at least repairable!!). As you enter, to the left there will probably be a coat rack with mirror above it. To the right you enter into the spare room. Straight ahead are currently two doors one to the lounge and the other to the dining room. As you'll see later, these two rooms are actually opened to one, so we are considering whether to keep both doors or not. They help to really open up the house but we may need to block off the dining room door for other purposes (stay tuned).
