Hard as it is to get a picture, image these gone. The pine is just so dense that no light gets through (which would be most welcome in winter). Also, of course, nothing grows under it either. These trees are renowned for breaking off branches without notice, and we've heard it in heavy winds and are a little scared. As for the scary leaning tree, that is somewhat more of a concern in bad weather, hanging over the power lines like that. Much as I'd love to keep a big tall gum in the yard, this one is not the ideal choice.
