The living room will probably end up being the games room. Initially it'll be kids space, but Nathan has this fantasy of putting in a pool table, setting up his chess board, etc. (in his dreams :). At the moment, the large brown structure at the far end is the current covering over the spiral staircase. As explained earlier in the dinning room, we still have to figure out what we'll do if we want to 'disguise' this in the future.

We hope to eventually turn the small kitchen into something more reminiscent of a bar, with adequate but basic cooking facilities. That'll probably mean a two burner cook top, convection / microwave oven, bar fridge and small sink. That way it can be used just as a drinks and nibbles station when used as a part of the wider house, but will still function as a kitchenette when used as a separate pad.
